SARS-CoV-2 S2 protein, His Tag (S2N-C52H5) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Ser 686 - Pro 1213 (Accession # QHD43416.1).
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 60.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 80-100 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH7.5. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
