蛋白结构(Molecular Characterization)
This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus
The protein has a calculated MW of 43.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 50-53 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
内毒素(Endotoxin)
Less than 1.0 EU per μg by the LAL method.
纯度(Purity)
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
>90% as determined by SEC-MALS.
制剂(Formulation)
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4 with trehalose as protectant.

- -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
电泳(SDS-PAGE)
Human TNF-alpha Protein, Fc Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 90% (With Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker).
SEC-MALS
The purity of Human TNF-alpha Protein, Fc Tag (Cat. No. TNA-H5255) is more than 90% and the molecular weight of this protein is around 255-285 kDa verified by SEC-MALS.
Report
活性(Bioactivity)-ELISA
Immobilized Human TNFR1, His Tag (Cat. No. TN1-H5222) at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Human TNF-alpha Protein, Fc Tag (Cat. No. TNA-H5255) with a linear range of 0.1-2 ng/mL (QC tested).

背景(Background)
Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) is a cytokine produced primarily by monocytes and macrophages. It is found in synovial cells and macrophages in the tissues. The primary role of TNFα is in the regulation of immune cells. TNFα is able to induce apoptotic cell death, to induce inflammation, and to inhibit tumorigenesis and viral replication. Dysregulation of TNFα production has been implicated in a variety of human diseases, including major depression, Alzheimers disease and cancer. Recombinant TNFα is used as an immunostimulant under the INN tasonermin. TNFα can be produced ectopically in the setting of malignancy and parallels parathyroid hormone both in causing secondary hypercalcemia and in the cancers with which excessive production is associated.
