Anti-HBcAg Antibody IgG Pair

背景（Background）

Hepatitis B core antigen (HBcAg) is a single polypeptide with a molecular weight of 18848u. HBcAg plays an important role in HBV infection. It can reflect the presence of Dane particles in serum and the replication of HBV in liver, and can cooperate and complement with other HBV serological markers. Only because its antibody has a strong affinity and can rapidly combine with HBcAg in serum to form immune complexes, it is difficult to measure free HBcAg in serum. Double antibody sandwich ELISA is commonly used to detect HBcAg.

This pair is developed for detection of HBcAg in samples.

存储（Storage）

For long term storage, the product should be stored at lyophilized state at -20°C or lower.

Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

This product is stable after storage at:

● -20°C to -70°C for 36 months in lyophilized state;

● -70°C for 3 months under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

原理（Assay Principles）

This assay employs a standard sandwich-ELISA format, providing a rapid detection of HBcAg. The pair consists of HBcAg Capture Antibody and Biotinylated HBcAg Detection Antibody.

Your experiment will include 5 simple steps:

a) Coat the plate with HBcAg Capture Antibody.

b) Add your molecule of interest to the tests.

c) Add Biotinylated HBcAg Detection Antibody.

d) Add Streptavidin-HRP followed by TMB or other colorimetric HRP substrate.

e) Stop the substrate reaction by add diluted acid. Absorbance (OD) is calculate as the absorbance at 450 nm minus the absorbance at 630 nm to remove background prior to statistical analysis.
