The HEK293/Human TSHR Stable Cell Line was engineered to express the receptor full length human TSHR (Gene ID: 7253). Surface expression of human TSHR was confirmed by flow cytometry.

Expression analysis of human TSHR on HEK293/Human TSHR Stable Cell Line by FACS.
Cell surface staining was performed on HEK293/Human TSHR Stable Cell Line or negative control cell using anti-human TSHR Antibody followed by staining with PE anti-human IgG Fc Antibody.

背景(Background)

The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane protein and a major controller of thyroid cell metabolism. The encoded protein is a receptor for thyrothropin and thyrostimulin, and its activity is mediated by adenylate cyclase. Defects in this gene are a cause of several types of hyperthyroidism. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]
