Roujian “RJ” Zhang is currently Head of Corporate QC at AstraZeneca, leading a global network of thirty QC labs. RJ provides leadership in the following areas, lean, QC IT technologies, QC testing technologies, QC business processes, global standards and SOP’s. RJ has more than sixteen years of experience in Biopharmaceutical industry, including process development and quality control in three companies, Amgen, Eli Lilly, and AstraZeneca. RJ’s experience spans across early development, product launch and commercial support. RJ graduated from Fudan University with Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, and Purdue University with PhD in Analytical Chemistry.
